Work/life balance is really a broad idea evaluating the suitable prioritizing between profession and drive on one hand, with joy, leisure, family, and spiritual improvement on the other.
Because the separation between work and home life has diminished, this perception has become more applicable than ever before. Correlated but broader terms include "lifestyle balance" and "life balance."
The reality is that anywhere you travel, you take yourself with you. I can go off to the woods for a week to meditate, but if I've never meditated, acquired some internal harmony, or learned to be content with who I am other than what I do, I'll take off to the woods and count the minutes until I can go or find some way to distract myself from myself.
Life balance is a lot more than how we use our time; it is also how we think about that time and how present we are in each moment. It does not always take one main happening to want to vary or to identify something is not right for you. it is often a sequence of things. It's something you need to "feel" and understand.
A job in sales consistently challenges us on the subject of balance. The great thing about the opportunities many businesses present are any sacrifices you are making in the present ALWAYS pay off with increased profits later on with, most importantly, more time. I've been in this industry for a lot of years, and I have witnessed this philopophy present superb things in the region of "Quality of Life" for a lot of individuals who were ready to become skilled at the skill of time management and objective setting!
Take an assessment of what you do and the way you live your life. As you evaluate your life, if you uncover any parts that you don't like, make a conscious selection to alter and be open and willing to try a fresh way. don't wait, start now.
Remember:
"Work hard and play hard. But do not confuse the 2 ."
God Bless You.
